Editorial Policy

Our goal is useful breed education without pretending that a web page can diagnose an individual dog.

Topic selection

We prioritize subjects that materially affect American Bulldog ownership: inherited risk, joints, skin, conditioning, behavior and age-related care.

Sources

Health and behavior guides favor veterinary organizations, professional associations and established canine health databases. Secondary breed resources may provide context, but they do not replace primary veterinary guidance.

Claims and uncertainty

We distinguish between a condition reported in the breed and a condition that any individual dog will develop. Screening lowers uncertainty; it does not create guarantees.

Authorship

Articles are published by the AmericanBulldogs.org Editorial Desk. We do not attach invented professional credentials or fictitious medical reviewers to content.

Updates

Guides may be revised when source guidance changes, when a claim needs clarification or when a page can be made materially more useful.

Commercial links

If paid or sponsored links are added, they should be clearly identifiable and should not determine our health or behavior recommendations.
